Forklift University was established in 2004 with the intent of providing OSHA forklift operator certifications to individuals in the Las Vegas area. There are very few forklift training companies that offer certifications to individuals until they have been hired at a company. But most companies require certification to be hired. With our partnership with several staffing agencies and government agencies that helped to fund the training we were able to help many people find work. We branched from operator certifications to operator driver training, another first, and gave the opportunity of a good job to people that had never operated a forklift by offering forklift driver training.

Over the years we have built strong partnerships with forklift companies, unions, staffing agencies and state job re-training organizations. Those relationships help all of us in the materials industry to keep people employed, operate equipment safely and build a strong community in the local areas we operate.
