Hands on Stand
Up Forklift Driver Training
Operating a stand-up forklift is very different from an
automobile but it is also different from the standard
sit-down forklift. The primary function of Forklift 103 is
to give experienced sit-down operators the training they
need to advance to stand-up operations and increase their
pay scale.
Some of the training includes:
Vehicle inspection
Special safety concerns with a standup
Driving forward and backward
Tight area maneuvering
Pallet placement
in some cases, practical experience with loading and unloading trucks.
Classes based on stand up forklift availability at Komatsu
Forklift. Currently this class is only available in Las
Vegas.
